SCP-3688 (You Can Dance If You Want To)

    This addon will probably not cut it, so I will keep looking for any other taunt/dance-based addons. Let me know if anything comes to mind.

    4. Explain how it would work. (Rules, Gameplay, RP, breaching, interacting with other SCPs, recontainment, ect)

    - Non-human/humanoid SCPs cannot use SCP-3688.
    - If SCP-079 views anyone using a 3688 dance, it will be able to instruct others on how to do it (instructions have be in good detail, judged by an admin).
    - Only one person at a time can listen to a tape.
    - One person can only have two dances.

    - In game, SCP-3688 should come with two components, a perma-propped cassette player and cassette tapes that you can put in your inventory.
    -Each dance will have appropriate music that reaches a bit farther than their effect radius. This is also a good way to let people know that someone is dancing and that they need to proceed with caution.
    - Each cassette tape will have their own instructions for how to do an SCP-3688 dance. A cassette tape would be dragged from someone’s inventory to the cassette player’s inventory and use it with the action key (Like a water fountain).The person using it would get a bar (like the one used when checking someone else’s inventory) that will fill up completely after 4 minutes, after which they will acquire a 3688 dance.
    - All dances will force the user to stand still for the duration of it.
    - The effects of a dance could be an AoE for the entire duration of the dance, a self-buff at the end of one (effective and noticeable, but doesn’t last long; like a speed boost, health regen, or damage increase, invisibility, etc), or a short range ally buff (small, barely noticeable effect; lasts significantly longer than a self-buff).
    - Each dance has a cooldown of 5 minutes.
    - I have three ideas that are as optional as they are terrible: A dance that will cause the user to become invisible and cause others in a small radius to have the “dronesrewrite_do_hell” effect (cooldown of 5 minutes; 50% chance for instant death at the end of it). A dance that causes the spherical “negative light” effect (from that one 914 test with a lamp) that stops time in an extremely small radius (cooldown of 4 minutes). A dance (specifically flossing) that will force anyone in a large/medium radius to never take their eyes off of the user if their view is unobstructed (cooldown of 7 minutes). I do not expect these to be added due to them being a bit overpowered.
    - Lore-wise, only one dance exists in the beginning. According to the wiki page, the dance allowed the person using it to be invulnerable for the entire duration of it. If 3688 was added, this should be the only tape available for now.
    - Terminate the user from a distance if the dance has an AoE.
    -Anyone that has a cassette tape/dance knowledge will be amnesticised, removing knowledge of all dances. The tapes are to be returned to their cabinet.

    - People can do /mes with it (Ex: D-17548 (Billy Bob) raises his fists in front if him to the same level as his shoulders, hunches over a bit, shakes both of his arms up and down after one another, turning right, then left, spinning around, stopping and then points closely at both of his cheeks with his index fingers, with the knees bent inward)
    - Researchers and CI Researchers can find a way to reverse engineer “kinetoglyphs” (read 3688) to create their own dances with their own effects (with Nic or someone else determining the effect RP-wise and Xyz coding it to sync with an animation and music).

    5. How many people can become the job at one time?
    No one.

    6. What would its cell need to look like? (Keep in mind it requires the map to be edited so nothing too crazy or big)
    - A small room with a filing cabinet for the tapes and a table for the cassette player in LHCZ.

    7. Why would we want this on the server?
    For something new and fun that is also extremely malleable for research and combat. Also, because I’m not seeing enough movement.

    Changed it to have a small radius, have a cooldown of 5 minutes, and added a 50% chance of dying.

    Ah, forgot about that part. I wont be disappointed if this gets denied, but I will still defend it and edit it based on the responses I get.
    Research would be able to reverse engineer it to “create” an effect, basically adding more and more tapes to containment. The effect of the created dance could be determined by Nic (whether good or bad) and coded by Xyz.

    Research and development branch doesn’t exist anymore I think, so this probably won’t get weaponised by Foundation.

    TBh this will be a very awkward SCP to have around and to RP for, its the toaster one is already awkward to RP for imo and isn't that well tested. The same fate will be its as the toaser

    I will add something to where the dance has music to go along with it so that you are not dancing to silence. It is also a good warning for people who hear it. Now about me. I’m not very awkward, but I can get dull and repetitive.

    In place of having to do /mes for dancing there are some dance emotes in GMod that can be used in place of it a swep could be made to cause the effects of the SCP, otherwise if you wanted to have the dance line up with how it's described on the wiki you could look for an animator and see if they can make it.

    I found something online called Blender that can be used to animate a playermodel. I’m at school atm, so I will download it after and try to figure it out. Fuck that noise.

    My stupid ass couldn’t even figure out how to move a playermodel to blender, much less on how to animate them. Guess I'm looking for an animator. Do you know anyone in the community that has that kind of experience?
