Secure. Contain. Protect.
This document is meant to guide the personnel of the SCP Incidents Division. Within this document you will find basic guidelines for each rank in the SID, as well as some general rules. If you have any further questions, ask a SID Supervisor or above.

Basic Rank Guidlines:

SID Recruit: SID Recruits are the lowest ranking personnel in the SCP Incidents Division, but that doesn't mean they're not useful. Recruits are the future of the branch, as a recruit you will be mentored and eventually trained for specialist if you seem competent. As a SID Recruit you can patrol LHCZ and HCZ freely and may enter LCZ with a valid reason (Getting D-Class, helping with a test, ETC). You may use the SID armory with supervisor+ permission, you can also use the armory for containment equipment such as clothes for 082 guests or fire suits without permission. As a Recruit you should be working with Specialists, to learn about how SID works and what you need to do as a member of SID.

SID Specialist: SID Containment Specialists are the “backbone” of the branch. Specialists make up most of SID. You are the second highest ranking personnel in the SID, and you are equal to a BCU. As a SID Specialist you can patrol LHCZ and HCZ freely and may enter LCZ with a valid reason (Getting D-class, helping with a test, ETC.). You may use the SID armory with supervisor plus permission, you can also use the armory for containment equipment such as clothes for 082 guests, or fire suits without permission. As a Specialist you are expected to be working with Recruits, and showing them the roles of SID and should be assisting other SID, in any way you can. You should also be running interactions with SCPs when possible with proper permission.

SID BCU Specialist: SID Biohazard Containment Units have one of the most important jobs. Your job ranges from picking up 019-2 bodies, to 035 cleanings/recontainments as well as many important unknown anomaly tasks. You are the second highest ranking personnel in the SID, and you're equal to specialist. As a SID BCU you can patrol LHCZ and HCZ freely, and may enter LCZ with a valid reason (Getting D-class, helping with a test, ETC). You may use the SID armoury with supervisor plus permission, you can also use the armoury for containment equipment such as clothes for 082 guests, or fire suits without permission. You should be working with other SID to maintain HCZ and LHCZ. You should with permission be running CC inspections and interactions whenever you have the time during a code green.

SID Heavy Specialist: SID Heavy Containment Specialists are the third highest ranking personnel within the SID. You are equipped with some of the best weaponry and armor, a M249, and heavy kevlar. As a SID Heavy you can patrol LHCZ and HCZ, freely and may enter LCZ with a valid reason (Getting D-class, helping with a test, ETC). You may use the SID armory without permission and grab whatever equipment you deem necessary, however, you can’t grant other SID the permission to use the armory. As a SID Heavy you are expected to show leadership and lead groups of SID, for cleanings, interactions you can also run CC inspections with proper permission from Supervisors or higher.

SID Supervisor: SID Supervisors are the highest ranking Non-SOC personnel within the SID. As a SID Supervisor you should be helping to organise SID, run CC inspections and lead SID during breaches and raids. As a Supervisor have access to the SID armory and may grant lower ranking SID access to the armory as you deem necessary, you are able to demote any SID of from the rank of specialist and below if they have been miss behaving or have broken an AOC.

General SID Rules:

1. SID must follow higher ranking personnel’s orders.

2. SID should be prioritising jobs in HCZ and LHCZ over things in LCZ for example deal with a 049 breach over a 173 breach.

3. You should put your duties before your life. Failure to do so will result in an instant demotion. (// I don't want you in SID if you're scared of a PK.)

3. All SID should follow the Armory Guidelines. Failure to do so will result in a detainment and/or demotion from SID.

4. Cheating in any way on SID tests will result in permanent removal from the SID branch.

5. Disrespect towards other branches is not tolerated. Disrespecting other branches will force you to write an apology email that that is 250+ words. If this rule is broken twice, it will result in permanent removal from the SID branch.

6. Disrespecting other SID personnel, regardless of rank, will result in punishment.

7. SID should not be in EZ unless ordered by a LT or higher, while pursuing a SCP, or on behalf of your best judgement (I.E A level 4 being captured by the CI).

8. SID should only be in LCZ to help with testing, getting D-class, any new anomalies or if there is a breach that GENSEC are unable to contain.

9. SID should always have the minimum amount of required personnel before starting any test, interactions or feedings/cleanings.

10. SID can remove General Security personnel under SSO from HCZ unless they are assigned to a squad. This should only happen when there is a mass breach or unknown anomaly.

11. SID may detain any personnel in the branch of SID excluding the SID SOC if they are found breaking AOC’s.

12. SID May detain any personnel under the rank of lieutenant in other branches.

13. SID should try to be running interactions constantly while it it code green. Failure to do so will result in a detainment for avoiding work.

14. Any SID who are caught breaking any AOC’s or Area rules are subject to detainment and possible demotion.

15. All CCs should be inspected once a month.

16. You are to ALWAYS grab 2 containment cubes and 1 173 cage when getting on area. Failure to do so will result in punishment.

17. Sitting at a sandbag watching a camera, or watching a containment chamber (unless ordered to) is considered Avoiding Work, which is a detainable offense, and will be enforced.

18. SID Heavies+ are required to attend meetings on Saturdays at 8:30 PM EST.

19. SID Supervisors are required to do two trainings or one training and one simulation a week.

20. SID Lieutnenats are required to do one training a week.

21. SID must have full competence. If they're deemed incompetent, they will be retrained or demoted.

22. SID must have professionalism. Showing immaturity will result in demotion.

23. No one is allowed in my office without my permission.

24. All SCPs that require feeding and cleanings should be fed regularly, at least once a day, and depending on the SCP, cleaned around 25-45 minutes.

25. SID is to work well together, a cohesive unit. Remember, communication is key.

26. Do not steal anything from the Captain.

27. SID should prioritize SCPs over CI.

28. If you're caught lying to a SID Supervisor+, you'll be permanently removed from the branch.

Unknown Anomaly Guidelines:

1. You are to never neutralize an anomaly unless ordered to.

2. You are to follow the Unknown Anomaly Procedures.

3. When containing an anomaly, you are to contain it in the vault. Temporary containment for testing should take place a safe place, like the LCZ testing chambers.

4. You should always have a heavy, a BCU, and two specialists when dealing with an unknown anomaly.

5. When testing an anomaly, one of your first priorities is to identify the anomaly.

SCP Rules are everything that's in the interaction logs and recontainment procedures and things like that, and everything you learn in trainings.

//
Out Of Character Rules:
1. Any disrespect or toxicity towards other branches, or the chaos insurgency in OOC chat or TS will result in a blacklist from SID, even when not flagged up as a SID Job. This includes forums and Discord too.

2. You are to not use a 173 cage in LCZ unless you're alone or there's a code red.

3. Standing on containment cubes is not allowed.

4. Don't act like the big dick daddies of the foundation. Something that ruins SID's image is the fact that all SID act superior to other personnel, which is something I'm trying to get rid of.

Thanks to @Magic man for helping me write this.
